Complete “cold break” tomato paste production plant – Thermal power station and ILMED cooling towers
For sale: a complete industrial plant for the production of tomato paste using the cold break process, capable of reaching a maximum concentration of 36/38 °Brix. The plant includes a thermal power station and ILMED cooling towers. It is still installed at the factory in Isola di Capo Rizzuto (KR), Italy, and can be inspected by appointment.

- Year of manufacture and installation: 2000
- Process: cold break, maximum concentration 36/38 °Brix
- Production capacity: 500 tons of fresh tomatoes input per 24 hours
- Output: approx. 3.5 tons/hour of tomato paste at 28/30 °Brix
- Packaging: hot-filled into drums of approx. 220 kg
- The paste produced is a semi-finished product, to be reprocessed within 2–3 months or stored in cold rooms

Consumption at full load (entire plant)
- Electricity: approx. 500 kW power input
- Water:
- approx. 1.5 m³/h to top up the cooling tower circuit;
- approx. 4 m³/h for the vacuum pumps and the tomato washing circuit, with recovery of evaporated water;
- approx. 5 m³ per washing cycle, every 10 days;
- approx. 0.5 m³/h of demineralized water to top up the steam generator.
- Diesel: approx. 300 kg/h for the steam generator burner at full capacity
Additional services offered by the seller (optional, to be agreed directly with the seller)
- Dismantling, packing and loading onto vehicles provided by the buyer (Ex Works): € 70,000.00 + VAT
- Recommended spare parts and maintenance kit: € 30,000.00 + VAT
- Installation at the buyer’s site: quotation on request. Excluded: board and lodging for the seller’s technicians, connection piping for utilities and product, electrical systems and wiring, civil works, machine start-up and staff training.
