An auction in two phases offers the possibility to bid both on single lots and/or for the whole bulk and is divided in:
You can bid for single lots until the countdown expires* then the second phase starts. * The time may vary according to the offers made. Go to the “AUCTION PROCESS” section and scroll to the question "When does an auction close?".
It lasts 10 minutes and during this phase you have the possibility to make an offer for all the lots. Timer and price** will appear on the main auction page.
If during the second phase offers for the bulk are made, the highest bidder will win all the lots. If no offers are made during the 10 minutes the highest bidders of the single lots will be considered winners or best bidders.
The bulk price is available at all times on your watchlist page. Add the auction to your watchlist and from that page you will see the bulk value constantly updated as offers for the lots are made. ** The bulk starting price is equal to the sum of all the lots values plus a minimum raise equal to the sum of all the lots minimum raise values.
ATTENTION: if the auction has reserve prices the bulk price will be equal to the sum of the reserve prices plus a minimum raise equal to the sum of all the lots minimum raise values.
In this type of auction you can bid only for single lots. There will be no second phase so you cannot place bids for the whole bulk.
In this type of auction you can make offers only for the whole bulk and will not have the option to bid for single lots. Once you pay the deposit you will see he button “bid now” appear on the main auction page.
Read carefully the auction description for more information. There can be two type of auction that show this option:
It is the advertisement of an auction that still has to open. You can find the auction opening date, from which you will be able to pay the deposit, in the auction description. If you click on “contact us” you can send a request to obtain more preliminary information about the sale.
In this type of auction you will not see the button “pay deposit” and you will not have the possibility to make offers on the website. To take part in the auction follow the instructions you find in the specific sale terms and conditions or the auction sale notice and in the auction description on the main page. Click on the button “contact us” to ask for more information about the sale or contact the agent directly.
On the auction and lot pages you will find a lot of key information among which the following entries:
Auction identification number, main reference for any kind of information request. You can find this code next to the auction or below the lot title.
Lot ID number. You can find this number next to the lot title.
Number of times the goods have been online on sale by auction.
It is the generic location of the goods. ( ATTENTION: some sales include goods placed in different locations, the specific position in this case is indicated in the lot description).
It is the starting price or the highest bid placed if present. Next to this value you will always see the accessory costs (Buyer’s Premium or BP, supervision fees or SR).
It shows if there is a reserve price or not. The definition “met” indicates that there is no reserve price or it has already been met. The definition “not met” indicates that there is a reserve price higher than the starting price or than the last offer made and it has not been met yet.

It is the auction closing date and time.
It is the amount you are required to pay to take part in the auction.

Is isn’t possible to indicate previously if the VAT is applicable as it depends on a number of factors connected to the type of buyer and to the origin of the goods. Usually if the VAT is not applicable to a particular good it is indicated in the lot description or you can find the different cases of exemption in the VAT section.

In each auction or lot page you can find the contact person’s details (visible after you register) to ask for an appointment or for further information about the auction.

Yes, all you need to do is to select the option “private”, we will ask you to type in your country fiscal code (or if your country does not have such code a valid identification document number).

Yes, all you have to do is to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating the correct data you wish to change. Our staff will verify the information provided and will update your profile. Remember that your profile information will be used to issue invoices and for any paperwork necessary in case of registered movable goods such as vehicles.
IMPORTANT: Once an auction is closed no invoice modification request can be accepted.

The watchlist section allows you to follow the lots you are interested in. You can access the section by clicking on “your watchlist” on the top-right corner of the page after logging in. From this page you can follow all your favorite lots sorted by closing date and time. You can also check the bulk value in real time (it updates according to the offers made on the single lots).

HOW IT WORKS
Make sure you have logged in. If you still see “PAY DEPOSIT” it means that the deposit has not yet been linked to your profile (in case of wire transfer please wait for the sum to be credited in our account) or the transaction wasn’t successful (in case of credit card payments make sure you received the email from Banca Sella that confirms the successful operation).
The reason may be:
When you click on “bid now” if other bids have been placed the minimum raise will be shown above the bid field.
The reserve price is the value the seller sets on a particular lot below which the lot cannot be sold without the seller’s approval. This means that if, at the end of the auction, you are the highest bidder but the reserve price is not met you have to wait for a communication from our staff to know if your offer has been accepted. It is not possible to know the reserve price value, if you reach the reserve price during the auction the system will show it in the reserve price field in the lot page.
It’s not possible to place bids that are lower than the starting price. If there aren’t any bids yet you can place a bid equal to the starting price. Otherwise you must place a bid that includes the minimum raise shown by the system after you click on “bid now”.
It is an automatic raising system that places bids on your behalf. All you have to do is set the maximum bid you are willing to place for that lot and the Proxy Bid will act as follows:
When you click on “bid now” you will find your Proxy Bid saved and next to it the icon “X” to cancel it.
We put all our effort to publish auctions with good quality pictures on our website. Nevertheless, in case of differences between what written in the description and what you see in the pictures, you shall consider valid what is reported in the description. We remind you that in the Specific Sale Terms and Conditions it is clearly reported that goods are sold “as it is in fact and in the state in which it is found” and no warranty is provided. We strongly recommend that you schedule an inspection of the lots you are interested in before taking part in an auction.
An auction closes when the timer reaches 00:00:00 and on the auction page you read “auction closed”.
IMPORTANT: If in the last 5 minutes a new bid is placed the time is automatically extended for another 5 minutes from the moment the bid is placed. For this reason, there is no need to wait until the last second to place a bid.
When the time expires if you see “pending result” appear this means that in the same auction there are other users that are still placing bids for other lots. The auction will officially close when the time expires for all lots. In case of an auction in two phases the second phase will then open and will last 10 minutes.

The auction closes and a report with the auction data is sent to the seller that will consider if and when to schedule a new auction experiment and at which conditions. You can insert the lot in your watchlist or click on “keep updated on the sale” to receive a notification email when the new experiment opens.

It is the amount you are required pay to be able to bid for the lots in an auction. This amount is not to be considered as an advance payment nor an offer and will be held only temporarily to be eventually returned.

Usually for each auction we organize a date for the inspection of the goods so that the interested parties have the opportunity to verify the state of the goods before attending the online auction. If you pay a deposit for an auction experiment you will be allowed to bid on all the lots included in that specific auction. If you wish to place bids on various lots that are part of different auctions then you have to pay a deposit for each auction.
No. The deposit is never considered as an advance payment, it will be refunded entirely once we receive the payment or the goods are collected.
No, the deposit is valid only for one auction experiment.
ONLY EXCEPTION: if you paid the deposit by wire transfer, and we have not refunded the amount yet, you can ask for the deposit to be kept for the next auction experiment by sending an email to email@example.com.
The system accepts all credit cards that use VISA or MASTERCARD circuits.
Yes, it is not relevant that the card is issued in your name or belongs to someone else, as the amount will be refunded and is not considered as part of the payment of an auction.
Please read carefully the auction description as this type of auction usually requires you to sign or send specific documentation to be allowed to place bids on the lots. This may be due to the type of Legal Procedure, restrictions on the sale, or for reasons related to the goods that may not comply with the European normative. The documentation required must be verified and therefore credit card payment is not possible, as it would activate your profile automatically without giving us time to complete the verification process. The specific documentation is always indicated in the auction description, in the Specific Sale Terms and Conditions and/or downloadable from the document section on the auction page.
You may have not typed the security code required for transactions on Visa or Mastercard circuits or your card may not have the credit availability. Please contact the number you find printed on your credit card for more information.
Check if you see a transaction corresponding to the payment of the deposit. Usually it isn’t indicated, as no financial transaction has actually taken place. When you pay a deposit with your card Banca Sella temporary freezes the sum for a specific amount of time and waits for an authorization to release it or collect it.
Once the deposit release is authorized the amount will be available on your card according to the internal timings of your card company. For more information please contact the number you find printed on your credit card.
Only in case the successful tenderer doesn’t comply with the specific sale terms and conditions for what concerns payment or collection of the goods. The payment timings are always specified on the auction and lot page, in the payment notes, and in the specific sale terms and conditions. In case of auction on behalf of a Legal Procedure the amount will be turned to the legal receiver as a compensation for any damage caused.
Banca Sella freezes the amount for 25 days. To allow the release of the amount IT Auction must receive the written confirmation of the payment reception by the Legal Procedure/seller, if we haven’t received it within 25 days from the payment of the deposit, we have to temporarily collect the deposit as a precautionary measure. When we receive the payment, the amount will be entirely returned to your card and you will receive an email as refund confirmation.
Within a few hours from the auction closure you will receive an email that confirms the win and a second email containing the payment notes with all the details to proceed with the payment in observance with the auction terms and conditions.
In order to organize the collection of the goods we must first receive the confirmation of payment and authorization to collection from the Legal Procedure/seller. The contact person in charge of the auction will then contact you via email to organize all the collection details. Keep in mind that when the sale is on behalf of a Legal Procedure the timings can be longer than a regular private sale. You can find the collection terms in the specific sale terms and conditions.
In most cases no specific equipment is available. All collection procedures are on behalf of the successful tenderer (dismantling, loading, transportation). This does not exclude the possibility to ask for an estimate or advice to our contact person that, if and when possible, will be glad to provide such information or service.
All lot information in our possession is already published online in the lot description. For any additional information please send an email to the contact person.
Yes, you can hire a specific company or courier for the collection. Please keep in mind that it is necessary to inform the contact person who will send you the necessary and mandatory specific documentation you need to allow a third party to collect the goods on your behalf.
Login and go to the menu on the top right corner of the page and click on “won/lost lots”. You will see the list of won lots.
VAT will be applied to the final price (if applicable), you have to consider also the Buyer’s Premium+VAT, and if specified on the lot page the Supervision Fees “SR”+VAT.

Commission invoices are sent via email to the buyer at the end of the month. The invoice of the goods is issued and sent by the Legal Procedure/seller and usually has the date of the payment. It may be sent by email or by regular mail. We can't guarantee the timing for this invoice. If you haven’t received the invoice please send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can send a request to the Legal Procedure/seller.
In no case data modification requests are accepted after taking part in an auction. The invoice will be issued automatically with your profile information.

VAT will be applied in compliance with the tax legislation in force at the moment.

At the end of the auction you will receive the payment notes containing the information you need to issue the “Declaration of Intent” (one for IT Auction and one for the procedure/seller). We will verify the documentation received and send you back the payment notes in VAT exemption.
Industrial discount supports the buyer in all after-sale phases trying to facilitate the exportation process. It is anyhow important to remember that since the assets come from companies under Legal Procedure it is not possible to provide the EUR1 certificate and therefore the customs taxes will be higher.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to define a specific timing as the completion of the administrative formalities depends on a number of factors (payment and documentation reception, sellers reply, technical timings for administrative and bureaucratic procedures, etc.)
If the procedures are managed by Effe agency you find the price list in the documentation section of the lot page. If the procedures are managed by a different agency it is not possible to estimate the cost. You can ask more information to the contact person via email.
The agency in charge of the administrative formalities will take care of the duplicate request and will give you all the information you need. Any extra fees shall be borne by the successful tenderer.
Until the administrative formalities aren’t completed, the responsibility of the registered movable asset is of the seller and for this reason it is not possible to organize collection until the documentation is ready and the service paid.
The data we use to issue any type of document are automatically taken from your profile. It will not be possible to change such information after the auction is closed.
The presence of administrative distraint, foreclosure or encumbrance is indicated in the DMV information (Visura PRA) uploaded online in the lot page. If this document is not available you can send an email requesting more information to the contact person of the auction. For what concerns the costs you have to consider each single case: any extra charges shall be borne by the successful tenderer. Effe agency can cancel at no costs the administrative distraints of the following institutions: Equitalia Forlì e Ravenna, Corit e Sorit Ravenna, Ravenna Entrate. For other costs please read the price list you find in the lot page.
The costs for the cancelation of the transcription of the Legal Procedure on the ownership certificate shall be borne by the successful tenderer, as indicated in the specific sale terms and conditions. Please remember that the cancelation of such transcription is not mandatory as it does not limit the circulation or the change of ownership of the vehicle.
